Hi, Jimmy. Thank you for your interest in Gibson Connect internet service. Regarding the ReConnect funds, they are not in the form of a grant. Rather, they are low-interest loan funds from the USDA to help us more affordably provide broadband access to certain areas. We plan to ultimately provide high-speed, fiber-based internet service to all of our eligible members. The process we are using puts our members in control of the order of our buildout. We’re asking members to indicate their support by registering at join.gibsonconnect.com. There is a $20 registration fee which is credited back to the member when his/her service is connected. We are working diligently to provide this essential service and we look forward to serving you and our other members in Fulton County.
