Clinton Reaches Participation Goal!

We’re so excited for our consumer-members in the Clinton Zone! This zone has now reached its participation goal, moving it a step closer to high-speed, fiber-based internet service!  Zones that we’re currently working on are Woodland Mills, Obion, Rutherford, Kenton, Newbern and Troy.  Next in line will be our Clinton Zone. 

Engineering for the Clinton Zone is expected to begin in the late spring of next year.  Next, we’ll order materials and begin the construction process.  We expect to begin construction in the summer of next year.  The construction process involves (1) building the main line fiber network; (2) running service drops; (3) splicing the main line fiber and service drops; and (5) doing in-home installations.  If all goes as planned, we hope to be connecting our first Clinton Zone members in the fall of next year.

The Bells zone at 94% is very close to also reaching its participation goal and needs just 23 more registrants.  South Fulton is at 82% and needs just 64 more members to register. Members can always check the status of their zones by selecting “Zones."
