Hello, Mike. We do not have an estimated timeline for construction in the Kenton zone, yet. We have just completed the Phase I buildout, and are beginning to focus on the zones that were approved for Phase II. The Kenton zone has met its goal, but has not yet been approved by our Board of Trustees for buildout. We will continue to update members at www.gibsonconnect.com, as well as at the email address provided at registration. We appreciate your support of this service and look forward to serving you!

Hi, Lee. The Bells zone is currently at 57% of its goal, with 181 signatures still needed. You can check your zone's progress at any time by going to the "Zones" tab here on the website. Please continue to encourage your friends and family members to sign up if they have not already. We appreciate your support and look forward to serving you!

Hi, James. Our residential internet offerings are 250 Mbps and 1 Gig. The download and upload speeds are "symmetrical" or the same. If you get the Gig plan, you'll have 1 Gig of download and 1 Gig of upload. If you get the 250 Mbps plan, you'll have 250 Mbps download and 250 Mbps upload. Thanks for your interest and have a great weekend!

Hello, Johnny. Gibson EMC's service area is broken into zones. There are some areas in Milan that fall within one of our zones, however, the majority of Milan is not eligible for Gibson Connect service. By law, we are only allowed those who live within Gibson EMC's service area. Please try entering your address in the gray box to see whether you are eligible for service.

Keely, yes, you will. If our team does not reach you via phone after a couple of attempts, we will also reach out to you via email to try and schedule your installation. If you would like to verify that your phone number has been updated in the system, please call us at 731.562.6000 and one of our team members will be able to help you with that.
Keely Wade
Ok @sarah Williams. The number I have provided at registration is different now tho I have called to have my new number posted on my account as well as a back up number... hopefully y'all see that in y'all's system. Would I also receive an email from y'all about scheduling a home install if I'm not reached via phone?

Hey, Chris. At this time we have not begun much work in the Trenton North zone as our crews are still hard at work to finish up the remainder of Phase I in Lake County. Once we have completed that, we will begin to focus our efforts on the Phase II zones, including Trenton North. We will continue to update members via the email address provided at registration as well as on our website. We appreciate your support and look forward to serving you!

Hi, Keely. We have crews actively working in this area and turning in orders daily that are ready for the in-home installation. There are only a couple of people on this road that have been connected at this time, but our team is calling to schedule new installs as quickly as possible. We will call the phone number you provided at registration to schedule your connection. Thank you for your continued support and patience for this service!

Hey just curious, we had our splicing done already last saturday and people down our road has been hooked up and had there home install done already...can you please look at my account and let me know if we getting close to our home install?
Sarah WilliamsCampaign Owner
Hi, Deborah. If you would like to have an extra splice, it would require that you have two separate services, one for your home and one for your shop. Unfortunately we would not be able to splice off of the fiber going to the home for it to run off of the same line. The price would be $49.95 for Residential 250 Mbps or $69.95 for 1 Gbps, depending on which package you prefer. You could also consider a range extender if the shop is within close proximity to your home. If you have any further questions on which would work best for you, please let us know and we will be happy to speak with you!

Hello, Allonah. We have placed all of the main line cable for the Humboldt/Gibson zone, and crews are currently working on main line splicing and service drops. Unfortunately, I cannot provide a specific timeline for connections, but we plan to start them next month. Circumstances such as weather could impact the timeframe of installations, as well. A Gibson Connect representative will call you as soon as your home has been readied for service. We appreciate your support and look forward to serving you!

Just wondering what the cost is to add an extra splice to my out building. I am in there a lot and would be nice to have internet for hard wire in there as well.

Hello, Sandi. Unfortunately I can't give you a timeline, but I can confirm that construction has begun in your zone. We expect spicing to begin this month or in January. After spicing is done and a NID is placed on your home and tested, we'll call you to schedule in in-home installation. We look forward to serving you!

Hello, Angie. It appears that you signed up after we had begun doing service drops to the homes in your area. Those that were already registered when work was being done were connected. I checked to make sure that your home is on our list to for contractors to return to for connection, and it is. We will contact you to schedule your installation when crews are in your area.

I'm in the trenton south area and they laid the cable in my yard yesterday. I was wondering about how long it will be before the actual connection for the service. Thank you! Excited to enjoy the new Internet service!
