Yes i was wondering who is responsible for repairing ruts that workers left in yards and drainage ditches that they ruined. I had sent an email and they told me someone would be in contact but still waiting on that phone call

Good morning, Phillip. I've looked up your service address and will ask our Manager of Outside Plant to look into this. Thank you for your patience and your support of Gibson Connect.

Hi, Wes. Highway 152 is actually a part of two separate zones. If you will provide us with a specific address, we will be happy to check the status for you!

Hi, Gregory. What part of Highway 211 are you referring to? I see that your address is located in the Newbern zone, but we have not started anything in this zone, currently.

Hi, Ramona. The Newbern zone has now reached its participation goal, however we do not yet have projected timelines for the zones in Phase III. We are in the midst of our Phase II buildout, and have crews working in four different zones across our service territory at this time. Due to the extremely wet winter we experienced, it put us behind in a couple of areas, but we are working as quickly as we can to bring this service to all of our members. We will take the zones for Phase III to our Board of Trustees to be voted on and approved, and we will communicate updates to members via the email used at registration. We appreciate your support of Gibson Connect, and look forward to serving you and the Newbern community, soon!

Hi, Tim. We have begun step two of the buildout process in Gadsden, which is construction of the fiber network. The engineering design for the area is complete, and we now have crews actively working on construction; in fact you have likely seen the work in progress. Next, we will begin placing service drops and splicing the fiber lines. Absent any unexpected delays, we are anticipating the first connections to begin in June. Please help us spread the word and encourage your neighbors to sign up for service as it helps the process if locations have registered prior to constructing service drops. We appreciate your support of Gibson Connect, and we look forward to serving you!

I don't know if you know where I live, I'm technically 2-21/2 miles out from HUMBOLDT as well as 2-21/2 miles out from GADSDEN... the electric power line ends at our house, after it runs DOWN from upper TOM DUNLAP ACROSS A FARMLAND FIELD QUITE A WAYS. When I read GADSDEN or HUMBOLDT... I can't help but wonder WHERE "I" STAND. THANK YOU.

H1N1 "FIRST documented 2009...- "(H1N1)pdm09 virus continues to circulate as a seasonal flu virus, and cause illness, hospitalization, and deaths worldwide every yea.." WE DIDN'T SHUT DOWN OUR COUNTRY! So, now WHY are so many PANICKING so much?! I "REGISTERED", thinking..6 months MAYBE 10... and NOW "THIS"? BALL PARK..." MY SUMMER 2021?!?!?!?

Hi, Joseph. Thank you for your question. Currently, the Newbern zone is at 97% of its goal with 10 signatures still needed. Given these numbers, we anticipate that the zone will be included with our Phase III buildout. We are in the midst of Phase II, and have not yet taken Phase III recommendations to our Board of Trustees for a vote. As I'm sure you know, we are operating under a participation model, meaning members drive the process of the buildout. Even with Newbern not bordering any other zone directly, once it reaches its goal it will be considered ready for buildout just like any other zone. We hope this answers your questions, but will be glad to answer anything else. We appreciate your support of Gibson Connect!

Newbern is only 13 registrations away from goal.... With Newbern being secluded (not bordering any other zones) do you anticipate a longer wait for service? Assuming the 13 spots are filled soon do you have an estimated time frame that we would start actually receiving service. Thank you for your time.

Hi, Daniel. As of now, we are anticipating that the Obion zone will actually be included at the very end of the Phase II buildout later this year. At this time we do not have a specific timeline to provide, but if all goes well, we hope to build it using the grant funds received as we near completion of the Hornbeak zone. We will continue to update members via email and at www.gibsonconnect.com. We appreciate your support, and look forward to serving you.

Hi, Dee. We have taken a look at that road, and it appears that it should be a part of the Woodland Mills zone. We will make sure those are corrected in the system, and it should update the numbers for Woodland Mills. Thank you for making us aware of what it was showing you. We will continue to provide updates and information to members in this area as we get closer to the buildout. Thank you for your continued support of Gibson Connect; we look forward to serving you!

With the recent announcement of the Grant for the area west of Obion and the plans to build out the full Obion area does that mean that the Obion zone will be part of phase 3?

I have a Hickman, Ky address but my line is run from the Woodland Mills, TN substation. I signed up and paid for the Gibson Connect when it came out. But now it tries get me to enroll and shows me in the Hickman Zone. Several of us here on the State Line Rd live in KY (have KY) address but have signed up. Did you count us with the Woodland Mills Zone since that is where our line is from or from Hickman just because of the address?? Maybe your %'s are off if we are not counted in the correct zone?? Hi, Gage. We have several different steps taking place in the Trenton North zone at this time, ranging from construction of fiber lines to connecting members. The weather and heavy rains have made it difficult to predict how quickly crews can begin in certain areas, but we have several crews working all throughout the zone to keep the construction process moving. If you are interested in where your specific address is in the buildout, please call us at 731.562.6000 and we will be glad to provide you with that information. We appreciate your support of Gibson Connect and look forward to serving you, soon!

Hi, Danny. Unfortunately we do not have a specific timeline in place for the Woodland Mills zone right now. We are in the second year of our five year buildout, and we have not yet begun the process of looking into Phase III, which is anticipated to begin in 2021. As it stands currently, the Woodland Mills zone is at 85% of its goal with 74 more signatures needed. Our board of trustees will have to vote on and approve which zones will be included in the Phase III buildout, but we are hopeful that Woodland Mills will be a part of it. Please help us continue to spread the word and encourage your friends and family to sign up if they have not. We will post updates to this site and www.gibsonconnect.com as they become available. We appreciate your support, and look forward to providing this service to the Woodland Mills area!

Do you have any idea when you will have the Woodlawn Mills region up and running? I'm so excited about getting their high speed internet service, I would almost pay for the extra goals that we need to reach our goal of a 100 %

Hi, Allonah. We do not show that your address has been spliced yet, however, those are being done and turned in to us on a daily basis. If they have already placed the NID on the side of your home, you are very close to being connected. They may have gotten the splicing done, and it has not been updated in our system yet. We have crews that are connecting members daily around your home, so you should be expecting a call from us very soon, probably within the next week. We will continue to monitor your address and update you with any changes that could cause this to be longer. Thank you for your continued support of Gibson Connect!

Hi, Alice. We are currently in the midst of performing in-home installations throughout the Trenton South zone. I have looked up your area and we have crews working diligently around your address. I will speak with one of our Gibson Connect team members to see if there is a more definite estimate to when you could potentially be connected with the crews working in that area. We appreciate your support of Gibson Connect, and we look forward to serving you!

Hi, I live in the Trenton South area, and I have seen the Gibson Connect workers working near my home. I was just curious as to when they would be doing this area for installations. Thanks!
