John and Jeff, you should have received an update in your email inbox yesterday. If you did not get it, please let us know. Unfortunately, I can’t provide specifics about when we’ll be able to get service to you. As you’re probably aware, we’ve had some delays due to problems with a former contractor and we don’t want to over-promise and under-deliver. We are working in your zone and we will contact you as soon as your home is ready for installation. We also will share more detailed information as we get it. In regards to the map suggestion, it is a great idea and we are exploring how we might be able to accomplish this. Currently, we do not have the ability to share a map of the areas in which we are working. Please know that we are working diligently to get you service as quickly as possible. It will be well worth the wait.

I, like John Moore, am looking for an update. I also like the idea of the build out map so we as consumers can see what is being done that I read on one of the other comments below. Obviously an exciting time for us country folks to get real internet service. I’m off Bakers Chapel Rd, being on Barnett Rd. Update when you can please. Getting antsy!!

Hi! I know y'all have to be tired of us asking, but is there any idea on when you'll be contacting us on Bakers Chapel Rd? I know that we're somewhere between tomorrow and around 6 weeks, but I would like to have a better idea.. It would be nice if y'all could even just update us on where construction is happening. I follow y'all on social media, but not much happens on there. Is there any way to expedite the process? Would it help if we dig trenches or move the cables ourselves? I am really needing this service as soon as possible. Thank you for your time and patience.

Hi, Michael. Phase II has not yet been determined; this will come after the completion of our Phase I work (in Medina, Three Way, Dyer and Lake County). Next, the other zones that have met their participation goals will go to the board for approval of Phase II financing. We expect to go to the board for Phase II approval in the first quarter of 2019. We also expect to construct Phase II in 2019. We're really happy that your zone has met its participation goal!

Good morning, Cody. Construction has already begun between Rutherford and Dyer. Unfortunately, an unusually wet fall and a change in our engineering firm has put us a little behind. We are hopeful that we'll be able to accelerate our progress and get close to our target. We appreciate your support and look forward to serving you!

Angela, Trenton North is currently at 94 percent of its goal with only 25 registrations needed. Please encourage your neighbors to register!

Hi, Tracie. The contractor we are using has different crews assigned for aerial vs underground. I have checked your registration, and you are currently registered for 250 Mbps and residential phone. I have also deselected the anonymous portion, so you should now be able to find yourself under the list of supporters. We appreciate your support and are looking forward to serving you!

Good morning, Adrienne. Unfortunately, serving an area spanning 12 counties will take some time to build. The good news is that we are continuing to see progress, and our ultimate goal is to serve 100 percent of our eligible members. We will need the continued support of our members to guide this process.

Hello, Roger. The zone goal numbers update automatically with each sign in. We appreciate your effort in encouraging your neighbors to register. Those of you who have taken the time to talk with others about this service is the reason that we currently have nearly 7,500 members registered. Thank you so much for your support of Gibson Connect!

I have seen comments stating that Dyer will hopefully have construction begin in late summer, and rollout beginning in November/December. Are there any updates at this time because it is November tomorrow and we are anxiously awaiting this service.

Where does Trenton north stand? I can only get whisper if I sign 2yr contract, but a $200 poll for height to put dish on and pay the connection/first month $160. I need internet!!! Is there anywhere to get internet on bradford hwy until we get Gibson connect without all the hassle???

Greetings, I have noticed that my neighbor is getting their line ran today which theirs is above ground utilities & mine is underground, is this a factor? However, I have not heard anything regarding my services & we signed up around the same time. Also my name isn’t listed as a supporter on the page.

We have been signed up for a very long time. What if we don't meet our goal? I see we need we still need 244 people to sign up in our zone. I don't even think that many people live out our way. Are the zone charts updated? Thanks!! Adrienne Shell

How often are the numbers on the Zone tab updated? I have been working hard to get the word out to people in my zone and believe we have some new subscribers... but the numbers on the Zones map have not updated.

Hi, Ty. No; we don’t have a map at this time. However, we think it’s a great idea and we’ve discussed trying to make this happen. We’ll do a post to our Gibson Connect Facebook page if we can work it out. Thank you for your continued support and for the excellent suggestion!

Do you have a map you could post to keep people updated on areas being worked on? Even a rough copy you guys have would be cool to be able to check.

Hi, Susan. Delivering service over a 12-county area is a big job that may take several years to complete. However, we do not expect for it to take that long. Of course, as zones reach their participation requirements we will provide more specifics regarding timelines. We will continue to seek and apply for state and federal grants as they become available. Please continue to encourage your friends, family and neighbors to register so your area can get closer to its participation goal!
