So is it going to take 5 to 10 years to get this high speed internet in the northwest part of obion county around South Fulton?

John, we are already finished with the overhead work in Three Way, and we are currently working on the underground. We'll also have to make the service drops and do the splicing before we can schedule an in-home install. We hope that this work can be done in about three weeks.

I see where they have the hard line looped on the poles on Baker's Chapel Rd. Any rough estimate on when they'll make the drops? Thank you for all of your support!

Hi, Donald. We're finalizing packages, cost and the technology platform at the moment. We are hopeful for a November/December roll out. We'll be sure to notify everyone who has already registered for Gibson Connect services once it is available. Thank you for checking, and have a great afternoon!

Hi, Jeff. Yes, we have already connected a handful of members who are already using the service! As soon as the weather breaks, we'll be able to continue working to increase the number of members who are connected. Density is not a significant factor when determining where to build. We are beginning at the substation and moving out. The availability of the contractor's resources are also a factor when determining where we work. Regarding the service drop, we will try to keep the window as short as possible. We expect to be able to complete an in-home installation within a couple of weeks of the service drop being made. We appreciate your support and patience. We know that our members are anxious to get service, and we are ready to provide it to you!

Jenni... I see in your most recent response that you say connections have began around the Mt.Zion Substation in Medina. Does this mean there are customers actually connected and currently using the service? I’m wondering as connections are being made will the focus first be in the larger subdivisions or will there be multiple crews working the smaller populated areas such as Esquire Peek and the surrounding areas? Last question...once a service drop has been made at an address what will the time frame be between the service drop and the actual in home installation? Thank you!

Hi, Flora. We have begun connecting members around the Mt. Zion substation in Medina. They are working their way out from there. Many factors make it difficult to predict when we will be installing in a particular area, but if you have already registered, we will contact you to schedule an installation.

Hi, Jeff. Our contractor crews are currently working in Saddle Tree and Winchester Place subdivisions in the Medina-Three Way area. We'll contact you once we are ready to build a service drop, and then we'll schedule an in-home installation. We certainly are looking forward to providing this service, and we're getting closer and closer to doing so. Thank you for your support!

Hi, Christina. We have made a lot of progress in Richmond. We will soon begin service drops, and we'll email you before we build one to your house. Soon after, we'll schedule your in-home installation. Thanks for your interest.

Hi, John. We have both your phone number and your email address on file, so we should be able to reach you. We will send an email before the service drops are made, and then we will call to schedule an in-home installation. If we cannot reach you by phone, we will try your email. Have a good day!

How is it coming in Richmond Subdivision in Medina? It’s been a few weeks since they were here laying the lines

I was just wanting to check how I will be notified when I they are ready to run a drop to my house. I want to say that I selected to be E-mailed, but I just wanted to double check. I don't get good cell service when I am at home. If you could check that for me, I would greatly appreciate it.
