Hi, Jeff. We're still working with our vendor to develop a high quality TV product. We've been testing it with a very small group to ensure it delivers a great experience when we launch. We're waiting for an update to address some issues now. We'll let you know more as soon as we can. Thank you for continuing to support us!

Hi, Richard. I'm working on an update for all of Phase I and hope to get it out within the next few days. Thankfully the weather has improved and our connection pace has picked up. We also have added to our Gibson Connect family. These new employees will help us serve our members faster and better. Thank you for your support and patience. I'll get more info out to you soon.

Been a while since we've had a general update on construction progress for Medina . Would love to hear how progress is going. Maybe percentage of zone completed perhaps an updated projected finish date goal etc.
Thanks
Rich

Hello, Michael. At this time, the start date for Trenton South and Phase II has not yet been set. We are still hard at work on Phase I and we’ll announce plans for Phase II as soon as they are approved by our board. We know that you and our other members need this essential service and we are doing everything possible to provide it as quickly as possible. We appreciate your support and ask for your continued patience.

Hi, Terry. We are actively working in Medina and hooking up members as quickly as we can without jeopardizing quality. We’ll give you a call as soon as your home is readied for service. We appreciate your support… and so does your pole.

Hi, Mack. We have been and will continue to seek out grant opportunities throughout our service area. We were actually awarded $1.22 M from a Federal Communications Commission Connect American Fund II (CAF II) reverse auction. It specifies $41,000 per year for ten years to be used for our Kentucky service area. We were very happy to come to the Ponotoc Community Center and enjoyed speaking with and educating members on the project. If you want to share information with your neighbors, we can equip you with materials. We appreciate your support!

I am in the Fulton zone are their any ideas on where to look for grants for Kentucky?
Also thanks to you all for coming to the Fulton Ponotoc Community Center to help inform and to answer questions. Is there more I can try and do to get the word out?

Hello, Jeremy. We have been working in the Rutherford substation. Specifically, we have installed the new substation house, provided electric power to the house and installed a backup generator. Currently, we’re working to install the OLT electronic equipment which will light the fiber. (The light provides the internet data.) Our contractors have completed most of the middle-mile overhead construction. Next they will engineer the fiber splicing design. Once this part of the engineering design is completed, it will be ready to be spliced. After the splicing is completed, we will run the service drops, and finally we will do the in-premise installations. It’s still too early to provide details about the timing, but we will keep you posted. Have a great weekend!

Hello, Misty. Our contractors have completed the aerial engineering design for the Ridgely/Tiptonville/Samburg area. They also have completed some of the aerial middle-mile construction. Next, our contractors will engineer the fiber splicing design, splice the fiber, run the service drops, and finally do the in-premise installations. It’s still too early to provide details about the timing, but we will keep you posted. The good news is that we’re making steady progress and those members who are connected are very happy with their service.

Hello, Tony. Thank you for registering! Maury City is currently at 44% of its goal with 225 registrations needed. We are currently working on Phase I of our buildout. It includes the zones that first met their goals (Medina, Three Way and Dyer) and the area covered by a broadband grant (Tiptonville, Ridgely and Samburg).
