It does not look like your service drop has been placed at this time, but crews are working as quickly as possible to get them completed. Hi, Megan. Unfortunately, we do not have an update at this time. We have not heard anything regarding grant funding from Kentucky. We are anticipating that an announcement will be made in a couple of weeks but we cannot say for sure when they will provide that information. We have reached out to them, but we have not been updated on where they are in the selection process. As soon as we have information to share with our members, we will be sure to update them. We appreciate your patience and support of Gibson Connect!

Hi, Jimmy. We have crews continuing to work throughout the South Fulton zone, but it will be a little longer before connections are ready to begin. I see that your service drop is under construction, but has not yet been completed. We still anticipate homes to start being connected in late May or June, and hope to have the majority of the area completed by late summer. I see that we received your registration a couple of days ago, so we should have your service run and ready to connect within four weeks. Can I get an update on my address? We have the 2 neighbors that have already received they internet. I wanted to know how they have received it but we haven't. We all had the cables run to the house within the same week but they are already on the internet. Please give me an update.

Hi, Darius. We have crews working throughout the Bells zone both placing service drops and splicing fiber. There are crews working very close to the street you live on, so it shouldn't be long before your service drop is placed. Once that happens, a crew will come by to splice the fiber and place the gray box on the side of the home. As soon as we receive a light reading, one of our team members will be giving you a call to schedule your in-home install. We are still anticipating this area to be largely completed by late spring. Hi, Mallory. It looks like the fiber still needs to be spliced at your home, and once that it done we will be able to get your service connected. With the box on the side of the home, once a crew comes by to get the splicing complete, they will send in the light reading and we will call to schedule your installation. There are a couple of areas, including close to you, that had had some minor issues with equipment and we have people working to get it replaced. As of now, we are anticipating to have the majority of light readings collected in this zone by mid-March. I do not show that we have received a light reading for your location at this time; the NID (small gray box) may be on the side of the home already, but if the fiber has not been spliced at the road, or if we have not received a light reading, we are not ready to connect it. As soon as we show there is light to your location, our team will give you a call to schedule the in-home install. We have crews working on service drops, as well as splicing, and locations are being steadily turned in for connection. As of now, we anticipated to have the zone largely completed and connected by the end of April. There are several variables that could impact this timeline such as weather, contractor staffing and materials availability.
